At the final round of the non-profit Western Canadian Indoor Championship Series (WCICS), which hosted over 1500 registrations across 8 events this season, the most in its 24 years, Serpent’s Steve Soon took the Great Hobbies Sponsored TC Stock season Championship. A double TC win as he also took home the TC Mod class! Second in the championship was Saskatchewan’s Ryan Rice, sponsored by Xray, and in third was privateer, WCICS President, Josh Carter. In WCICS best season yet the series grew almost 35%, added a new event, and switched to Sweep Racing as the spec TC tire. A big thanks to all the clubs, volunteers, and to all the class sponsors: Team Great Hobbies, Awesomatix, Team Novak, ATD Hobbies, Orion Safety, The UPS Store (Country Hills) & Best Western Hotels.
