Tyler attended the JCP Rc Raceway New Years cash race. A little over 100 entries attended the one day event. Tyler decided to only run 1/8 ebuggy with his 1/10 cars all rebuilt and ready for the CRCRC Midwest Electric Championships the following week. Ended up having three heats of 1/8 ebuggy for the night with some fast competition.
In qualifying Tyler had the speed but small mistakes would cost him the tq position and qualify second for the main. He and the TQ driver were the only two to qualify with 15 laps out of the field of cars on the very green track layout. Main time came and with a couple setup changes, Tyler was confident it would go better than qualifying. The tone went off and he put pressure on the leader for the first lap and got him to make a mistake and checked out from there. His TLR 8E 3.0 on the new JConcepts Gold Dirt Webs were great all day letting Tyler cash in for the win!
