We received a box in the mail from none other than Turd Ferguson Racing (TFR) which is the United States distributor of the 4x Euro Champ, Lee Martin's, LMR Product Line. As we opened the box we were all smiles with what awaited us inside!

Super Strength Servo Tape and Black Chassis Weights
Servo tape is something that is a very touchy subject around here as multiple races have been lost due to servo tape losing grip and electronics flopping all around until they are tired of getting beat up and just shut off. LMR offers what they call "Super Strength Servo Tape". A lot of companies claim they have super strength products, but we must say, this is truly a SUPER STRENGTH roll of servo tape. Amazingly although it holds electronics down like super glue, when going to remove it, it leaves behind no excess goop or sticky and makes for an easy clean up and switch of electronics.

(Each pack of weights includes 126 grams of weight)

Chassis weights are chassis weights, right? Wrong! LMR has released these all-new weights which are specifically designed for precision and style. The new weights are clearly labeled and are individually divided into 1/4oz pieces with perfectly cut individual pieces, so no more twisting and pulling to tear apart weights with nasty edges. Did I mention they are jet black in color to add stealth and style to your ride? Although the weights include an adhesive backing, we actually were able to pull the adhesive off rather easily, so we decided to make sure we don't lose our weights by replacing the stock adhesive with small pieces of the Super Strength Servo Tape from earlier.

Electra 1/10 scale Heavy Duty Wing
When racing 1/10 scale offroad there is one item that can literally go from brand new to totally destroyed in one crash, and that is lexan wings. LMR offers a low-profile wing known as the "Electra Wing". This wing has low profile side dams as well as lines to cut the back height to your liking. Speaking of cutting this wing, make sure you have a fresh pair of scissors, as this bad boy is HEAVY DUTY. The thick lexan is slightly difficult to cut, and because it is a "universal" wing requires you to do a little more work than others to mount on various cars, but makes up for it with it's durability.

(The Electra wing is sold clear, wing skin sticker kit shown here is sold seperately.)

The "Electra Wing" is by far the strongest 1/10 wing we have ran up to this point. After multiple crashes end over end we put a few scratches and tire marks, but were unable to bend, tweak, or break the wing. Not even the back of the wing, which is usually the first part to get bent up, came off the track showing any structural damage. We then took pliers to the wing and began bending and stretching...but still couldn't damage the actual wing aside from appearance. Last but not least we covered the wing in nitro fuel and lit it on fire, and that is when we finally found something to complain about with this wing. It is NOT, I repeat is NOT, fireproof...come on Lee, you couldn't have made this super wing fireproof?

LMR Flat Bill Hat
Hats are a defining piece of apparel for men. A hat can be the deal maker or deal breaker when giving the "head nod wink" to a passing lady friend. A simple change of hats can take you from zero to hero. A hat for a guy is like big sunglasses for a girl, if you have the right hat it doesn't really matter what you look like because the hat makes it all look good. To test the LMR Flat Bill Hat we decided to take it to the ultimate test grounds, the city mall. We equipped the hat with a slight bill bend and a 34 degree kick up. We received 10 out of 10 smiles with a "head nod wink" and one fake number. As it turns out the fake number turned out to be a bakery in the mall, so because of the LMR Flat Bill Hat we discovered quite possibly the best cupcakes around.
