In an effort to further optimize the Associated B4.2, T4.2 and SC10.2, AVID introduces the Associated Motor Centering Set. The B4.2 and related platforms are all heavy on the left rear, which also make an imbalance on the front tires. By shifting the motor, motorplate, and slipper 5mm towards the right, the balance is restored close to 50/50. Re-balancing the rear end weight also affects the front tire weights, and with the entire package back to equilibrium, you get a car that turns more predictably left and right. On the track, the car feels like it rotates faster and more evenly through both left and right turns. Stock racers will love the 6.7g savings in rotating mass!

Dylan Gerard wins with TLR at the 2013 Mugen Challenge
Canadian Derek Sousa TQ'd Pro Nitro buggy with Barry Pettit starting 2nd and TLR's Dylan Gerard 3rd. After the long 45 minute main, it was TLR driver Dylan Gerard bringing home the win with his TLR 8ight 3.0, followed by Matt Schreffler, and Derek Sousa.

In the Pro-4 class, Team Losi Racing driver Chico Alvarado took the win with his Team Losi Racing SCTE 2.0. After 3 rounds of qualifying were done, Chico and his Team Losi Racing SCTE 2.0 started first on the grid for the start of the A-main. For the main Chico switched to AKA Soft City Block 2.0 tires to provide the edge needed to drive him to victory.

The 2013 AARCMCC QLD IC Championship was held at England Park Raceway in Australia on July 27-28. Jeff Hamon with his Mugen MTX5 went on to win the 30 minute grand final with a 2 lap lead on the field! Hamon went on to also win the 1:8 racing car class with his MRX5 WC-Spec!

The Tekno R/C SCT410 had a great weekend in Round 3 of the Top Notch Series at OCRC Racway. Tekno R/C swept the podium in the very competitive PRO4 Short Course class. Barry Baker took a dominant 1st place followed by fellow teammates Nick Blais in 2nd and Rudy Rico in 3rd.
