Welcome to LiveRC's weekly column, "Talk-It-Up Tuesday!" Here we spend a little time talking with industry icons including racers, manufacturers, team managers, developers, promoters, and everyone in between! Sit back, relax, and go behind the scenes as we interview them all!

Several weeks back we made our way to Fastlane Raceway in Blue Springs, Missouri, where the annual JConcepts Winter Indoor Shootout and Invitational took place. While at the event, two drivers really grabbed our attention. These two drivers grabbed our attention for not only their skills on the track, but their overall personality and love for racing off the track as well. They may be youngsters, but they aren't afraid to go just as fast (and faster) than the big boys!

Without further ado, we would like to welcome the Horne brothers, Austin and Aydin, to this week's edition of "Talk-It-Up Tuesday!"

LiveRC: Welcome you two to "Talk-It-Up Tuesday!" You both a blazing fast, and have some very impressive results. The first question everyone wants to know is how old are you, and how did you get started in R/C racing?

Austin:
I am 13 years old and my dad raced so I grew up around RC racing.
Aydin: I am 11 years old and I grew up around the sport because my dad always raced.

LiveRC: You both recently attended the JConcepts Winter Invitational where you both did very well up against some very fast drivers. At that race you both ran 2wd and 4wd buggy, but what is your favorite class to race?

Austin:
4wd is probably my favorite because it's way faster.
Aydin: 2wd buggy is probably my favorite because it handles the best.

LiveRC: Obviously you guys have a very good coach, your dad (Allen Horne). What do you think the most important thing your dad has taught you about R/C racing is?

Austin:
He has taught me everything I know so it is hard to pick one thing.
Aydin: Never give up, win or lose, give the glory to God.

LiveRC: What was the first race that you ever beat your dad?

Austin:
I think it was last winter at our home track for a club race.
Aydin: A warm up race at our home track 2 years ago.

LiveRC: What is your biggest accomplishment so far as young racers?

Austin:
Probably qualifying 5th place in the a-main at the JConcepts Indoor National this year in 2wd Mod Buggy.
Aydin: Getting 2nd place in the JConcepts Winter Indoor Invitational class.

LiveRC: Do you want to be professional R/C car racers when you grow up?

Austin:
Yes!
Aydin: Yes.

LiveRC: How do you explain to the kids at school what R/C car racing is, and that it's not the remote control cars you buy at Wal-Mart?

Austin:
After about 5th grade I gave up because no one understands what I do.
Aydin: I’ve stopped trying because they always make fun of me.

LiveRC: Which pro drivers do you look up to the most, and why?

Austin:
Jared Tebo, because he is a great driver and he loves the Lord.
Aydin: Jared Tebo, because he doesn’t show any emotions on the drivers stand and he is a Christian.

LiveRC: Outside of R/C racing, what are some of your other hobbies?

Austin:
Dirtbikes, BMX, and scootering.
Aydin: Dirtbikes, BMX, and scooters.

LiveRC: If you could describe each other in one word, what would it be?

Austin:
Aggressive
Aydin: Punched

LiveRC: If you could invent something in the R/C car industry, what would it be? (Self-marshalling cars, Velcro tracks, cars with laser beams...)

Austin:
A battery that doesn’t die or overheat. Or a speed control that doesn’t blow up when you plug it in backwards.
Aydin: Foams and tires that don’t wear out.

LiveRC: Best and worst things about R/C racing?

Austin:
Best is winning and worst is losing.
Aydin: Best is knowing that you did good, worst is getting taken out.

LiveRC: Thank you two for joining us today! I'm sure we will see a lot more of both of you in the winners circle soon! Is there anything you guys would like to say before we go?

Austin:
Thanks to my sponsors Factory Tracks Racing, JConcepts, Nankin Hobby Lunsford, MIP ,Kolor Concepts, MODX and the good Lord Jesus.
Aydin: Thanks to my dad for taking me out to race, and my sponsors; Factory Tracks Racing, JConcepts, Nankin Hobby, Lunsford, Kolor Concepts, MODX, and the good Lord Jesus for giving me the talent.
