In any form of racing there is an ongoing debate as to who are the best racers in the world. Typically, opinions are made from recent finishes, fan favorites, and/or public appeal. So who is the ACTUAL Top 25 drivers in R/C at this time?

We linked up with our good friend Rick McCrery who has developed a method to finding out just who the Top 25 really are, and has created an interactive site known as "Top 25 RC" that features it all!

So how does it work you ask? McCrery says, "Top 25 RC is a non bias mathematical ranking system based on a drivers finishing position at qualifying events.

Drivers receive points based on their finishing position and the quality of their competition. Drivers may receive points at variety of events. Points remain on a driver’s tally for sliding two year scale. A Drivers points are divided by the number of scoring events in which he’s attended during the previous two years, with a minimum of 3 scoring events necessary to achieve a ranking. National Level event scoring is based on a 150pt scale with TQ valued at 5pts and a worlds event is on a 200pt scale with TQ valued at 10pts.

Current results are based only on US events and IFMAR worlds so far."

We have just received news that Top 25 RC has updated their current nitro 1:8 buggy listing to include races outside of just the United States, which as you can see changes up the leaderboard just a bit!
