In off-road racing, every driver that enters has one tough competitor in common - the racetrack. A well-built course challenges the racers with an appropriate mix of features that place a premium on car control and patience, while rewarding risk and penalizing mistakes. When it comes to different track surfaces and interesting features, 1/8-scale is king - especially on tracks in Europe that often mix all of these elements into one sub-60 second lap. The Naxos World Track in Messina, Italy, is no exception; Aaron Waldron took a LiveRC camera for a walk around the layout and met up with Mugen Seiki USA team drivers Barry Pettit and Chris Chmielewski for some expert insight.
